Information the enquiry form collects
The Rescue Audit form asks for your name, work email, company, optional company website, a description of the application and concern, the trigger for your search, urgency and an optional investment range.
Do not include passwords, credentials, health information, payment-card details or confidential source code in the form.
Why it is used
The information is used to assess whether a Rescue Audit may be suitable, respond to the enquiry, arrange a fit call where appropriate and maintain a minimal record of the resulting commercial conversation.
The basis for this processing is taking steps at your request before a possible contract and BarringtonMedia's legitimate interest in managing genuine business enquiries.
Where it goes
The public application sends the enquiry by email and does not intentionally store the message in its own database. The information will pass through BarringtonMedia's hosting and transactional email providers and may be recorded in a separate, access-controlled lead register.
Provider details and any international-transfer safeguards must be verified as part of the production mail and hosting review before launch.
Retention
Enquiry information is retained only for as long as needed to respond, manage a resulting commercial relationship, meet legal obligations or maintain an appropriate record of why work was accepted or declined. Records that are no longer needed should be deleted during periodic review.
Analytics and cookies
The launch implementation is designed for privacy-first, cookieless measurement and does not require advertising pixels, session replay or chat tracking. This notice must be updated if the deployed analytics configuration changes that position.
Essential session and security mechanisms may use temporary browser storage to validate form submissions and preserve errors. They are not used for advertising.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or transfer of your personal information, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
Security
The form uses server-side validation, CSRF protection, rate limiting, bot controls and an owned-domain mail sender. No internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure, so sensitive access information should be exchanged only through an agreed protected route.
